Pearson Farms & Carroll Farms

Georgia Peaches. Arguably, the finest in the land. Near 60 different peaches can be grown in the state of Georgia. Throughout this summer season many varieties have entered and left our local Farmers Markets. Each variety bears fruit at different times between mid May - mid August. Pearson Farms in Fort Valley, Georgia and Carroll Farms in Woodburry Georgia have provided Trackside Grill with Peaches all summer long. Aside from unbelievably sweet, juicy peaches, one thing both growers have in common is the practice of sustainability in preserving portions of the farm to balance the natural state of the land. Carroll Farms started in the early 1900's by Thomas Hynes Carroll and is currently managed by his grandson Walter Hynes Barnes. A small scale family operation sticking to what they know best. Pearson Farm is slightly larger and has been perfecting its peaches and delicious buttery pecans since the 1890's. Catch our Peaches and Greens salad featuring Pearson Farm peaches and Pecans before its gone! Enjoy our Peach Crisp for dessert. Weekend specials starting Thursday evenings.
